WINTER season 2022 is shaping up to be one of the busiest on record for all Victorian ski resorts, with accommodation providers reporting huge volumes of pre–season bookings.

With so many people due to arrive this season, Mt Hotham Resort Management is providing a customer service entry point in Harrietville, just before visitors start their trip up the Great Alpine Road to the ski area.

Staffed during high visitation times, including Friday nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and school holidays, the staff at the entry point will give motorists valuable, up to date information prior to journeying up the mountain.

Stuart Stevens, visitor experience senior manager for Mt Hotham Resort Management, said friendly staff will be on hand to provide information to people not familiar with Mt Hotham, check they've got chains and resort entry permits, and just generally be a reassuring presence.
