BOTH Mt Hotham and Falls Creek resort management have released their respective 'early bird' deals for vehicle resort entry season permits for 2022.
And this year, both are offering refunds as part of their deals, which are open until midnight of April 30.
Mt Hotham's early bird resort entry season permit is available from $455.
However, you can pay an extra $50 to upgrade to a refundable season permit, which will be fully refunded if unused – or partially refunded depending on the number of days it was used – under specific circumstances.
Mt Hotham said interest is in the season is already high, and and the resort is working hard to put the finishing touches on brand new visitor facilities before the season starts, including the Alpine Gateway car park and the Whisky Flat Recreational Facility.
Full priced resort entry season permits will go on sale on May 1 for $585 (or $635 with the upgrade to a refundable season permit).

At Falls Creek, the 'early bird' deal has vehicle resort entry season permits on sale for $400 ($350 if you're over 65).
Resort management say the deal is the most cost–effective way to visit Falls Creek for eight days or more during the 2022 winter season.
The resort has also introduced a refund policy on the offer – at no extra charge – allowing the purchaser to receive a refund in the event of certain government health orders.
Stuart Smythe, CEO of Falls Creek Resort Management, said that he looking forward to welcoming people back to the resort after two terribly challenging years due to disruptions from the COVID pandemic.
